During the briquetting process, the cooling emulsions contained in the chips are pushed into the collecting tub of the pump press, from where the emulsion can be pumped back into the machine tool for reuse. This saves the press money on expensive cooling emulsions that are irretrievably exported out of the machine with the chips by the chip conveyor.
